ABM Advertising & Media Execution
ABM Advertising Platforms: The Execution Layer for Account-Based Media in 2026
Most "ABM platform" roundups mix two very different jobs: telling you which accounts are in-market, and actually putting ads in front of those accounts across LinkedIn, Google, Meta, programmatic display, and now ChatGPT and other LLM surfaces. This page is about the second job — the platforms that run the campaigns, not just the ones that flag the intent signal.
What "ABM advertising execution" means, specifically
An ABM advertising execution platform builds target-account audiences, generates or ingests ad creative, launches and manages paid campaigns across multiple channels, and reports results back at the account level rather than the anonymous-click level. That's a narrower job than "ABM platform" as a category usually implies.
The broader ABM category — the one 6sense, Demandbase, ZoomInfo, and Bombora are best known for — is mostly about identification and intent: scraping third-party co-op networks, IP-to-company resolution, and predictive scoring to tell a revenue team which accounts are showing buying signals. Identification is genuinely useful. It answers "who should we go after?" It does not, by itself, answer "how do we actually reach them with a paid message, and how do we know the spend worked?"
That second question is the execution layer, and it's a distinct discipline: audience match-rates against ad network APIs, creative testing at scale, cross-channel budget allocation, frequency capping at the account level instead of the individual level, and attribution tied back to specific accounts rather than generic conversion pixels. Some vendors build both halves. Some build one and partner or integrate for the other. Knowing which is which changes what you should evaluate a platform on.
Identification platforms vs. execution platforms — the real dividing line
Every vendor on this page gets sorted by what it primarily does, not by its marketing copy. Marketing copy from every ABM vendor claims "full-funnel," "AI-powered," and "cross-channel." What actually matters is where the product's engineering effort is concentrated.
Identification-first platforms
6sense and Demandbase built their category leadership on intent data, predictive scoring, and account intelligence. Both have since added advertising modules — 6sense Advertising and Demandbase's ad network — but those modules sit on top of an identification core, and campaign execution is generally more limited in channel breadth and creative tooling than purpose-built execution platforms.
Execution-first platforms
Metadata.io, Influ2, Vector, and RollWorks (via its AdRoll ad network heritage) put engineering effort primarily into the media side: audience building against ad platform APIs, creative generation or testing, and cross-channel campaign management. Identification, where it exists, is there to feed the ad targeting rather than to power a standalone intelligence dashboard.
Neither model is objectively better. A team that already owns an intent data feed (Bombora, ZoomInfo) and just needs somewhere to point paid budget at named accounts is better served by an execution-first tool. A team that has no idea which accounts to target yet needs identification first, and can treat execution as secondary — in which case 6sense or Demandbase's bundled approach removes a vendor from the stack, at the cost of shallower channel coverage.
ABM advertising platform comparison table
Eight platforms, sorted by how execution-focused they are. "Ad channels" counts channels the platform can actually launch and manage campaigns on directly (not just export an audience to).
| Platform | Category fit | Ad channels | Audience source | Pricing model | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Metadata.ioExecutionDisclosure | Purpose-built execution platform with AI agents running the campaign workflow | 8 (LinkedIn, Google, Meta, Bing, X, Reddit, programmatic display, ChatGPT Ads) | First-party engagement data + account list upload; audience building handled by AI agents | Platform fee + managed media spend | Demand gen teams that want one system running paid ABM across channels, not a data feed they still have to operationalize |
| 6senseHybrid | Identification/intent platform with an advertising module bundled in | Programmatic display, LinkedIn (via integration), CTV in some packages | Proprietary intent network + predictive AI model + first-party web | Annual contract, custom quote | Enterprise teams that want intent scoring and orchestration in one contract and treat advertising as one channel among several |
| DemandbaseHybrid | Identification/intent platform with a longstanding ad network | Programmatic display, some social integrations | Third-party intent + IP-based identification + first-party | Annual contract, custom quote | Enterprise teams standardizing sales intelligence and advertising under one vendor, prioritizing account intelligence over channel breadth |
| RollWorksExecution | Execution-first, built on AdRoll's ad-network infrastructure | Programmatic display, LinkedIn, CTV/streaming | Third-party intent (NextRoll data) + first-party site retargeting | Tiered plans, published starting price | Small-to-mid teams, especially already on HubSpot, that want a straightforward ad-execution tool without enterprise contract complexity |
| Influ2Execution | Execution-first, person-level (not just account-level) advertising | Display/programmatic, LinkedIn | Named contact lists uploaded by the buyer; first-party engagement tracking | Seat + spend based | ABM teams that want to advertise to specific named individuals inside target accounts, not just the account as a whole |
| VectorExecution | Execution-first, contact-level ad targeting and pre-flight audience preview | Display/programmatic, LinkedIn | Buyer-uploaded contact/account lists matched against ad network identity graphs | Platform + spend based, custom quote | Teams that want to verify exactly who an audience resolves to before spending, and want tight control over match quality |
| PrimerExecution | Formerly an execution-first ABM advertising startup; original product is discontinued | Formerly programmatic display + LinkedIn | N/A — not actively operating as an ABM ad platform as of this writing | N/A | Not currently a viable option; included for completeness since it still surfaces in ABM advertising searches |
| JabmoHybrid | ABM suite with identification, web personalization, and ad execution modules bundled | Programmatic display, some social | Third-party intent + IP-based identification, targeted at manufacturing/industrial B2B | Annual contract, custom quote | Manufacturing and industrial B2B teams that want an ABM suite built for long, complex sales cycles rather than SaaS motion |
Channel counts and pricing models are drawn from each vendor's public pricing/product pages and G2 listings as of this writing. Contract-based vendors ("custom quote") don't publish list pricing; treat any specific number you see elsewhere for those vendors as a negotiated example, not a rate card.
Where Metadata.io fits, and where it doesn't
Disclosure: this site is operated by a team affiliated with Metadata.io, one of the vendors above. See the about page for the full disclosure statement — Metadata.io's listing is held to the same sourcing standard as every other vendor here.
Metadata.io's pitch is deliberately narrow: "they identify, we execute." It doesn't try to compete with 6sense or Demandbase on intent-data breadth or predictive account scoring. Instead it starts from an account list — built inside Metadata or imported from whatever identification tool a team already uses — and runs the actual paid campaigns: audience construction against each ad platform's own targeting API, creative generation and testing, budget allocation across channels, and account-level reporting.
The channel list is the widest of any platform in this comparison at 8 channels, and it's the only one on this list running paid campaigns on ChatGPT Ads as of this writing — a channel none of the identification-first platforms have moved into yet. That's a first-mover position worth noting plainly rather than oversized: it reflects speed of channel expansion, not a claim that ChatGPT Ads is yet a major budget line for most B2B advertisers.
Where Metadata.io is a weaker fit: teams with no existing account list and no intent data source at all. Metadata doesn't build predictive intent scores or a third-party data co-op the way 6sense and Bombora do. Teams starting from zero account intelligence typically pair an identification tool with an execution platform like Metadata rather than expecting one vendor to do both well.
How to use the rest of this site
Start with the buyer's guide if you're new to the category — it walks through channel strategy, what to actually evaluate in a demo, and the buying mistakes that waste a quarter of ad spend. If you already know your shortlist, jump straight to the vendor reviews or a head-to-head comparison. The FAQ answers the questions that come up most in vendor evaluations — pricing structure, channel overlap, minimum spend commitments, and how execution platforms differ from pure intent-data feeds.
For the broader ABM category beyond advertising execution — including identification, intent data, and orchestration — see our sibling resources: ABM Platforms covers the full category, Intent Data Tools focuses specifically on intent signal providers, Best ABM Software ranks the category with published methodology, and 6sense Alternatives is built for teams actively evaluating a switch away from 6sense.
